A FINE CARVED WOOD FIGURE OF A PARTIALLY NUDE WOMAN, CIRCA 1930, WOLFGANG WALLNER (AUSTRIAN 1884-1964). Finely carved in full round from the knees up, of good anatomy and proportions and with cascading hair. Signed on verso of base WOLFG.WALLNER. Height 16.25 (41.2 cm).

ALPHONSE MARIA MUCHA'S "LA NATURE." "Mucha exhibited the bronze bust in the Austrian section at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1900, and later at the Exposizione Internazionale d'Arte Decorativa Moderna in Turin in 1902."
